Human Rights Walkathon Being Held in Florida

St. Petersburg, FL
7 April 2007

In these dangerous times people of all faiths must come together to educate ourselves and our youth in basic human rights. These rights were set forth by the United Nations in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our purpose with the Human Rights Walkathon, 2007, is to unite all people in these rights and to make them a reality. Through education we can end war, discrimination and intolerance.

The coming together of all these various groups: banks like AmSouth, the Dali Museum, the Holocaust Museum, schools and churches such as the Church of Scientology, the Glorious Church, the St. Petersburg Muslim faith and the Nation of Islam in Tampa is an excellent demonstration of how working together and granting human rights to others makes a society come together and grow. We invite you to join us this April 7th at N. Straub Park in St. Petersburg to walk for human rights.
